Haiyan - China Fasteners City
Haiyan is one of the three major fastener manufacturing bases in China, and has been successively recognized as "Zhejiang Fastener Industry Demonstration Base" and "Zhejiang Fastener Product Export Base". There are more than 600 fastener enterprises in our county, and the products are mainly exported. The export volume accounts for more than 1/4 of the total export volume of the county, which is the largest export product in our county. In recent years, under the influence of the COVID-19, a series of problems have emerged one after another, such as the soaring sea freight, rising commodity prices, and blocked supply chain. The deterioration of Sino US relations has led to a sharp increase in the risk of enterprises exporting to the United States. On this basis, the main export market of fasteners in our county, the European Union, has launched a new round of anti-dumping, and fastener exports are facing severe challenges. Faced with the complex and volatile international trade situation, our county government and enterprises worked together to overcome the difficulties, stabilized the basic foreign trade market, and achieved positive results in fastener exports.
